A real hodge-podge today of this, that and the other thing but no dogs or cat!
A bit of vegetarian military humor?
Even the fairy tales have changed. Sigh.
I have a feeling it still beats a general arts degree???
Signs! Signs! Everywhere there’s signs.
Not mentioning any names but I know several people who think along those lines.
Why do I have the uncomfortable suspicion this just may be some truth in this?
Truth! Bare unadulterated truth!
Third computer related meme! Maybe there is a theme going on here?
Hmmm Patrick Stewart reading a “bedtime” story.
I’m sure there is a market for these out there; I just can’t imagine where.
The word for June 27th is:
Hodge-podge /ˈhäjˌpäj/: [noun]
A confused mixture.
Late Middle English: alteration of hotchpotch by association with Hodge (a nickname for the given name Roger ), an archaic British term used as a name for a typical agricultural worker.
A hotchpot(ch) was a stew made up of beef or goose and what every vegetables were to hand. It is still popular as the name for a vegetable stew in Nova Scotia.
The lobster flipflops: Do I sense a business opportunity for an enterprising (new) Islander?
I don’t want a pyramid. I want Stonehenge! And doesn’t EVERYONE on PEI already wear flip flobsters?
I would have thought those flip flobsters would already be the hottest item going. If they came in a size 49, I’d buy a pair for SG. As for the rest, thank you! I really needed some giggles today.
My father had a run on joke (which all his sons still say) whenever we see a sign “Slow Children” to say that’s too bad.
Sweet merciful Jesus. Patrick Stewart with his shirt buttons undone? I thought this was a family-friendly blog?
