I realized that the only thing I’ve been posting lately are these little mirthful Monday vignettes but frankly the Muse of Fire has not been responding to my call in the last month or so. However there are times when it seems the Muse of Mirth has been – in fact I was all set to post something that meets so many of the criteria of an Internet post – it has cats, it had music and it was funny. However it appears that my friend Angela wasn’t able to activate a link to a post I had found very funny first thing this morning so there was a change of plans. I hadn’t heard of Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola who has appeared on the comedy scene with a good deal of – deserved – success.
Many of his routines address the complicated glories of the English language. I dedicate this to all the people I know who have struggled with both learning and teaching English over the years.
The cats can wait until next week!
