Lunedi Lunacy

Well I could pretty much relate to this when the alarm went off at 0630 this morning!

Another piece of brilliance from the National Film Board of Canada, that despite cuts still manages to chug along and give us documentaries, animations and shorts that delight, give rise to thought, and cause controversy.

On this day in 1287:  King Wareru founds the Ramanya Kingdom, and proclaims independence from the Pagan Kingdom.

  1. …(carrying on from Debra She Who et ceteras) … which sort of works out because WE in the states below you appreciate it on a regular basis. Well, we who know filmmakers and animators. Canada, as a nation, keeps a wonderful relationship with its artists. Maybe it/you follow the same model (well, the OLD model) as European countries, but it all feels … different. Point is: treasure, indeed!!

  2. One of my favorite childhood memories of a cartoon turns out to be from this very Board. I am most thankful for them.
